Join us for the 10th Annual GeoMO Conference, as we discuss Geotechnics for Sustainable Environment with guest lecturer, Dr. Krishna Reddy.

Geoenvironmental Engineers are now playing an increasing role in sustainable waste management, green site remediation, clean energy, climate change, and mitigation of greenhouse gases. This expanded scope requires an increased understanding of the global implications of environmental issues as well as a broader, multi-disciplinary base of knowledge, particularly in fields of hydrogeology, geophysics, geochemistry, microbiology, and ecology.

This year¹s GeoMO 2012 lecturer is Dr. Krishna Reddy, professor of civil and environmental engineering and director of the Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering Laboratory at the University of Illinois, Chicago. He will be discussing some recent advances in geoenvironmental engineering towards sustainable waste management and pollution control and remediation.
